Prof. Maxim Likhachev
CEO of RobotWits
Professor of Robotics and CS at Carnegie Mellon University
About The Speakers:

Maxim  Likhachev is a professor of Robotics at Carnegie Melon University and CEO of RobotWits, a high tech robotics startup. Maxim developed a strong passion for mathematics early on in his life but often wondered about the real-world applications of mathematics. Robotics is a highly intra-disciplinary area that enabled Maxim to exercise nearly every math concept he learned. He is now passionate about using robotics to motivate high school students in understanding the actual applications of all the math concepts they learn.
